An easy loaf to make at home, with no breadmaker required. The addition of cheese and tomato means that this is a great portable lunch, no need to make a sandwich!

Ingredients
250g plain wholemeal flour
100g oats
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp salt
250ml natural or Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp tomato purée (or 50g chopped sun-dried tomatoes)
75g grated cheese (cheddar or similar)
50g mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, flax)
Method
Preheat oven to 200°C (fan 180°C / gas 6). Line a loaf tin.
Mix the flour, oats, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt in a large bowl.
Stir in the yoghurt, olive oil, and tomato purée until just combined.
Fold in the cheese and seeds.
Spoon the mixture into the tin and smooth the top.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, until golden and a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Store
Room temperature: 2–3 days in an airtight container
Freezer: Slice and freeze for up to 1 month
