Ingredients

  • 1 can (400g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1 tbsp milk (of choosing)

  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 80g smooth peanut butter (or almond butter)

  • 100g honey (roughly 75 ml)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

  • 100g dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), roughly chopped

  • Fold the chocolate chunks into the dough using a spatula.

  • Form large rough shapes by scooping tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking tray. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.

  • Once cooled, cut into bite-sized shapes.
