A great snack when you want a bit of a chocolate hit without the dip! Perfect for lunch boxes too.

Allergen info: oats, seeds, dairy (can use a different milk)
Ingredients
1 banana
1 medium egg
4 tbsp honey
2 tsp vanilla essence
400 ml milk
275g oats
25g milled flaxseed (optional)
25g cocoa powder
40g dark chocolate for drizzling
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 375°F.
Line a medium baking tin with baking paper.
Mix all the ingredients together by hand or in an electric mixer.
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
Cut into squares or bars, then drizzle with the melted chocolate.
Let the chocolate set (you can place it in the fridge to speed this up).
Enjoy
You may want to add raisins or chocolate chunks into the mix for kids.
In the fridge: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
In the freezer: Wrap individually or store in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Defrost in the fridge overnight or at room temperature for a few hours before eating.
