Crumble Topping

A healthy crumble topping you can use on top of any stewed fruit to make a tasty dessert.

Makes: enough crumble for 2 small or one large dessert

Allergen info: eggs, oats

Ingredients

  • 250 g oats

  • 1 egg

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C / 356°F.

  • Mix all the ingredients together by hand or in a mixer.

  • In an oven dish, spread the mixture evenly over your stewed fruit (fruit of your choice, stewed in the microwave or on the hob – ideas: summer berries or apple, raisin, and cinnamon).

  • Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the topping is firm and turning golden brown.

  • Serve warm or cold.

  • This mixture can be frozen.
