Ingredients
Mixed seeds – 150g with at least 30g flaxseed
Water – 120ml
Cinnamon – 1 tsp
Maple syrup or honey – 2 tbsp
Dark chocolate – approx. 20–40g, melted (for optional drizzle)
Method
In a bowl, mix seeds, water, cinnamon, and maple syrup or honey.
Let sit for 15–20 minutes to allow the mixture to thicken slightly.
Preheat oven to 160°C fan / 180°C / Gas Mark 4.
Spread the mixture thinly and evenly on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake for 30–40 minutes, rotating the tray halfway through.
Break off crispy edges early if needed and continue baking the rest.
Let crisps cool completely.
Melt dark chocolate gently (in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water or in short bursts in the microwave).
Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled crisps using a spoon or piping bag. Let set at room temperature or chill briefly to firm up.
Store in an airtight tin for up to 1 week
