Cranberry and Orange Christmas Balls

A naturally sweet, festive treat full of fruity goodness and spice. Simple to make, freezable, and perfect for a Christmas treat!

Ingredients

  • 80g oats

  • 50g dried cranberries

  • 50g other mixed fruit such as apricots and dates, chopped

  • 50g ground almonds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp mixed spice

  • Zest of ½ an orange

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp orange juice (to bind)

Method

  • Blend or mix all ingredients together until sticky and well combined.

    • If mixing by hand, chop dried fruit finely first.

  • Add orange juice gradually, just enough to bind.

  • Roll into 12 balls, about walnut-sized.

  • Chill for 30 mins (fridge or 10 mins in freezer) to firm up. Overnight works best!

    Storage:

    • Fridge: Up to 1 week in an airtight container

    • Freezer: Up to 1 month—enjoy straight from frozen or defrost for 10 mins
