Following the teaching on our Fitfish retreat in March, last week we reflected on the question:
“What do you want Jesus to do for you?”
Today I want to take that one step further…
Because it’s one thing to ask.
And another to believe.
Faith isn’t something we tick off once.
It’s something we live out, day by day.
Sometimes it looks big…
But often it looks like this:
“Lord, help me get through today.”
“Help me make a wise choice.”
“Help me keep going.”
“Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)
And just like a muscle…
Faith needs to be used.
Stretched.
Exercised.
Grown.
Because life will bring challenges.
Moments where things feel heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming.
And in those moments, we have a choice:
Do we focus on what we can see…
Or fix our eyes on Jesus?
“Fix your eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen…” (2 Corinthians 4:18)
You don’t have to do this alone.
We’re not meant to.
Are you spending time with God?
So today:
What is one small way you can stretch your faith?
