At this time of year, routines go out the window, and so do our normal food choices!
So let’s take a moment to pause and ask:
👉 How do I want to feel on Boxing Day/ in the New Year?
👉 What does peace with food look like this Christmas?
This isn’t about rules, guilt, or eating from a list of “approved” festive foods. It’s about letting God guide your choices and remembering that He remains constant, even when the buffet table is overflowing!
🎄 Jesus feasted. He celebrated. And He invites us to live in freedom, not food guilt.
So I’d love to encourage you to:
Bring your plans and meals before God
Ask Him to give you peace in each moment
Use tools like pausing, sitting down to eat, and visualising how you want to feel
You’re not doing this alone.
God is with you in the celebration and in the choice to skip the second helping of orange creams 😉 (does anyone actually like those!?)
Let’s aim not for “perfect” but for peaceful.
