What do you Really Want?

What do you really want?

Not what culture tells you to want.
Not what a sugar craving pushes you towards.
Not what others want.

But what you truly want, with God living in you.

You might say:
“I want to lose weight.”
“I want to be more disciplined.”
“I want to be healthier.”

But is that the whole story?

Or do you actually want:

  • Peace instead of guilt?

  • Energy instead of exhaustion?

  • To feel aligned rather than conflicted?

  • To become someone who lives with steadiness and clarity?

So often we focus on outcomes, when what we’re really longing for is to be transformed. And we know a God who specialises in that!!

What we teach at Fitfish isn’t about swapping one set of rules for another.

It’s not about:
A stricter routine.
A better plan.
More pressure.

It’s about removing external noise so you can discover what you genuinely want with Christ in you. You can then bring that before God.

Proverbs says:

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3)

Whatever you do.

Your habits.
Your health.
Your schedule.
Your stress.
Your thought life.

Nothing is too small to bring to Him. Everything matters because it shapes your life. I read something by Rick Warren the other day that really struck me. Nothing is too small to bring before God because everything is small to Him!!

So here are three questions to ask yourself this week:

  • What do I really want?

  • How do I want to feel?

  • Who do I want to become?

And then, without judgment, begin to notice whether your current habits align with that deeper desire.

It's not about getting things 100% 'right' but gradually aligning your thoughts, actions, habits and lifestyle with what you REALLY want.
