Ingredients
100g oats
80g chopped medijool dates
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp desiccated coconut
Plus:
For Gingerbread flavour: 2 tsp ground ginger, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp mixed spice, 1 tbsp honey
For Chocolate Orange flavour: ½ tsp orange essence, 2 tbsp cocoa powder
For Mint Choc flavour: 1 tsp mint essence, 2 tbsp cocoa powder
For Apple Pie flavour: 25g chopped dried apple, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp mixed spice
Method
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl using your hands or a spoon.
Roll into approximately 15 balls.
If the mixture feels too dry, add 1 tsp of water.
Chill in the fridge for 1 hour or set in the freezer for 10 minutes.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 1 month.
Let them come to room temperature for a few minutes before eating if frozen.
